My Back 2 School Babies

Yesterday's Back 2 School Mini-Sessions were a success. I started off with my two little boys. I'll be honest I was a little frustrated with Benson, because he wouldn't listen, and I didn't think I was getting any good ones of them. I think I need to give him a little more credit though, because he looks pretty darn cute:)Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday, and thanks to Jan Garrett for your amazing help. I know it's cliche to say, but time flies when your having fun. Those 3 1/2 hours came and went.

The Bates Backyard Summer Family Session

Thank you Bates Family for the fun family and newborn session tonight. Your boys are adorable, and I enjoyed your sweet, and thoughtful family. I can't wait to show the rest at your viewing and ordering session.

The Zarikta's Urban-Style Clovis, New Mexico Art Gallery Family Portraits

The Zarikta's urban-style family portraits were taken in the ultra-cool art gallery, Underground Embassy in Clovis. Not only was the location super stylish, but so were their outfits that included bow ties. The Zarikta's always come prepared with cool outfits. I love how they each have their own style, but it all flows together for the family style.A big thanks to the Zarikta family for being so awesome.

Benson.Kid Model

Benson didn't take his nap today. He didn't want to. So I told him since he didn't want to take a nap, I was going to do a photo shoot with him. He didn't seem to care. I put on his outfit I had in mind and he started arguing a little. I said, "nap or photo shoot"? He picked the photo shoot. We started shooting and he was a little fussy about it. I said again, "nap or photo shoot"? He picked the photo shoot. And before you know it, he was having fun. My little boy is four and is the best big brother. If you ask him what he thinks about his baby brother he will tell you, "I wuv him. I'm a big bruver and I wuv baby William".

By the way, the cool 80s vest is from BabiesRus and was only $4. Crazy steal, crazy deal.

The Burgin's Woodland Family Portrait Session

Thank you to the Burgin Family for a fun woodland themed shoot. I loved your tent, and I loved your sweet little faces!I love the images they selected, but I don't know how they did it. I simply adore this family. I secretly wish I was their big sister. These kids are so much fun, so cute and I love their mom. And dads cool too. Not to mention their grandparents and aunt. This is my beautiful friend Adrienne, and her beautiful family. They live in California and I barely get to see her, so when we scheduled her session for last month I was very excited. Adrienne is one hot momma...please refrain from being jealous as you look at her family shoot below. They are all super models and don't take a bad picture. Seriously! I am proud to say I did about 5 % editing on these images. Majority of them are straight out of the camera (sooc)-for the photog peeps. This photo shoot was so sweet for me, because its was like shooting for family. Adrienne is one of my dearest, and bestest friends. We go way back, and have been through lots together. In my mind as I was shooting, all I could think was, "I want to give them something so memorable, so sweet, and something I would totally want for me and my boys."I love this family dearly and I am so excited for you to scroll down and see there family shoot.

I have been a little absent lately from the blog, but thats what happens when you are a full time photographer as well as a full time mommy to a little boy who doesn't have daycare in the summer :) PLUS, he is so much fun its hard to pull away from him and get down to business and do work. Just wanted to explain why I have been MIA. Now, on to the Delaney family...

We collaborated ideas over the phone, and through pinterest.com and came up with this cute little shoot for them. I look at these pictures and think, "I would so love this for me and my boys."

I am so blessed to have sweet friends like Aimee. She recently reminded me that I introduced her and her hubby back in college and I'm so glad I did, because now they have this wonderful little girl. They live in Austin so I don't get to see them much, but when I do its like we never skipped a beat. Aimee is so creative. I mean SO creative, and blessed with awesome talent. This girl works for FOSSIL, and recently made my fabulous Cristy Cross Photography tees. She is a wonderful wife, and mom and I love her dearly.So, for her session I wanted to do something creative, something I haven't done before. So I called the guy with the VW bus (as the owner calls it) and I new this would be perfect for her.  We went to the field across from the Windmill Museum for a forest look and parked the bus.  It fit my idea perfectly and Aimee and her family matched it so well. Thanks to Linda Schilberg for helping out that day and thanks to Bill-the owner of the bus for letting us use it.

These pajamas get me so excited for the Christmas holidays. It reminds me of family time and traditions of reading the bible on Christmas eve, opening presents, and good home cooked breakfast. I can smell the breakfast casserole now.

This year we are offering lots of fun styles for your Christmas cards! Do you  do Christmas cards? Yes! I most definitely do with the help from  fabulous templates I pick out with my clients in mind. What size do you offer? 5x7 flat cardstock (this gives you two sides) and 5x7 vertical folded cardstock (this gives you 4 sides)

What kind of finish is the card? Three options-semi-gloss, recycled paper, and pearl uv coated How much do they cost? 5x7 flat cards start at $60 for a package of 25 cards (2 sideds) 5x7 folded cards start at $100 for a package of 25 cards (4 sides)

Can I customize my cards?

The colors and wording can be changed to customize your family.  The design of the card cannot be changed

How do I go about ordering my Christmas cards?

Great!  I'm glad you are ready to order.  All you need to do is decide which images you want on your card.

Then, email me with the amount of cards you want and the image numbers.
