The Schaap's Clovis, NM Dairy Farm Family Session

I pull up to the dairy, put on my rubber boots, and prepare myself for taking pictures with the Schaap's and their cows. I started to wonder if I was going over board wearing the rubber boots, until we entered the pins where the curious jersey cows mingled. There and then I knew I made the right decision, because placed in every square inch of the ground were cow patties. And I seemed to step in a lot of them. You gotta do what you gotta do to get a great shot.I always love working with this family, and I've been taking their family pictures since the youngest (who will be 9 yrs old in a few months) was a baby. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of these very special people, and thank you Schaap's for always trusting in me to photograph your family.

Clovis, NM Studio Mini Sessions Benefiting Luke Siegel

Thank you to these sweet precious familes for booking a mini session to help with my cosins Luke's medical fund. You are all so thoughtful and it blessed my heart to have you do these.Thanks to your wonderful donations, you helped raise $1,050 for Luke. Thank you. Thank you for being so kind and generous and thank you for being a light in this difficult time. Your children are all so beautiful and I feel so blessed that you let me take pictures of them. Mini Sessions in Clovis and Lubbock

I am currently offering mini sessions in Clovis, NM and Lubbock, TX with 50% of the sales going towards my cousin Luke. My nine-year-old cousin Luke was in a golf cart accident Tuesday, July 28th in Lubbock, Texas that resulted in severe head trauma. Doctors are optimistic that Luke will return home but not without quite the road to recovery with brain damage, a collapsed lung and complications with his left eye due to the golf cart rolling on top of him causing several skull fractures and brain swelling. It is a waiting game as doctors continue to evaluate the extent of the brain damage and the next few days will be key for Tim and Jenny Siegel, Luke's sisters, family, friends and loved ones.

Studio Mini Sessions

Okay you guys. This was so much fun. I loved photographing these kids (and a teen) today. Talk about super adorable.I have photographed my boys on this simple, white background studio set several times before and we always have so much fun. I let them do what ever. Act goofy and simply let them be kids. So, I decided I needed to offer this to others and I did just that this weekend.

Thank you everyone who participated in the studio mini sessions. I'm looking forward to you seeing them all. They are quite hilarious/cute/adorable.

Yesterday I gave my second ONE-ON-ONE workshop for a sweet lady and momma from Oregon. I am excited for her and her new beginnings as a photographer and a mom of two. Taylor is a 2011 Senior Rep for Cristy Cross Photography... I loved working with Taylor and her cute little self. She reminds me of a blond Jennifer Love Hewitt. I loved this session because I was able to try out some new locations. The wind in East New Mexico is a little harsh this time of year, but it makes me explore new places. Taylor was a fabulous model and I am so excited with what we got. She is so photogenic, making my job super easy.

Shelby!! Let me tell you something. You are BEAUTIFUL! Inside and out. I so enjoyed your session. Especially when a 40 yr old dude yells at you and your pretty little self. (gross, considering you are only 15) Yup, she is only 15 people. I did her sisters senior photos 2 years ago and it is great getting to shoot Shelby too. Her mom was also with us and I left their session feeling so loved and appreciated. This family is one awesome group and I've only met half of them. Thanks for your kind hearts and sweet spirits. You are all so beautiful :)
