Ordering and Viewing Session

I love ordering and viewing sessions. This is where you come over and get to see your photographs for the first time. This is also where you get to select the images you want to display on your walls as a piece of art/decor for your home. Tonight I had a viewing and ordering session with the senior below and her family, and this is just one of the many they selected as their favorites. It was fun seeing them excited and giddy over the photographs of their sweet, beautiful daughter.

I think this is one of my favorites too :)

My baby isn't a baby anymore

Liam is 13 months old. I can't stop salivating over his juicy legs, almond-eyed grins, and rosy-red cheeks.It's true too. Ya know what people say-that time flies when you are having fun.

Shaylee's Class of 2013 Texico, New Mexico High School Senior Session

Can you even tell it was windy the day we took these? Nope, nope you can't. Believe me though. It was extremely windy. Shaylee rocked it out and is a true beauty. She had a lovely audience, her boyfriend and mom, and he kept us entertained.Thank you Shaylee, Denise, and Adrian for an awesome afternoon. I can't wait for you to see all of them!

Class of 2013 Announcement Cards

Congratulations Class of 2013.  Graduation time is less than two months away, and it's time to place your high school senior announcement cards. Here are the details:

What size do you offer?

-5×7 flat cardstock printed on recycled paper

What kind of finish is the card? recycled paper

How much do they cost? 5×7 flat cards start at $65 for a package of 25 cards (2 sides)

Can I customize my cards?

Some of the colors and wording can be changed to customize your card.  Do to the template design cannot be changed.

How do I go about ordering my graduation announcement cards?

Great! I’m glad you are ready to order. All you need to do is decide which design you want, and the images you would like for your cards.

You can place your order with me at your Ordering and Viewing Session, through your web gallery, or over the phone and email.

If you have pre-ordered your cards, we can customize your cards in person.

Is there a cut off date?

Yes. If you want them all sent out by first of May, please have your orders in to me no later than *Friday, April 12th!*

How long does it take to get them in?

7-10 business days-this allows time for custom work, printing and shipping

Where will they be delivered?

They will be delivered to me and I will package them up all nice and neat for you :)

The Norton's Clovis, New Mexico Family Session

I am currently working on the pictures I took of the beautiful and energetic Norton family. I can't wait for them to see the full session!Thank you Norton family (and neighbors) for bringing me into your home, and thanks for letting me hang out and photograph your family.

The Carter and Harris Ranch Style Family Session

The Carter and Harris family came together for a family session on their horses at their ranch, because this is the only way it could be done for their family :)

Oh, and let me add, the sweet little baby has been riding a horse since he was 13 days old.

The cute little saddle below used to be Tara's.  Now it will be her little boys.

Megan and Kyle's Country Backyard Texas Wedding

Megan and Kyle were married on a beautiful rainy day in Bonham, Texas (30 minutes outside of McKinney, Texas) I mean pouring rain from the day before, to continuous raining the morning of their wedding, until all the guest were gone. Like, mad crazy raining. You know, for most people they might be upset about all the rain, and all the mud it was creating. Not for Megan and Kyle. They were both easy going about it all. And that my friend is why their wedding was one of my favorites, not to mention one of my most favorite couples to work with through out the entire wedding process. I also love working for brides who are referred by a friend who is a previous bride of mine :) Thanks Carrie for the referral.

Megan and Kyle got married at her mom's pasture behind her house. The trees in the field were endless, and the glossiness from the rain on the grass made the green so vibrant and beautiful. They went for a country backyard themed wedding with soft pink and creme hues. I was in heaven!!

The Neuman's Newborn and Family Session

I am currently working on this families print order. And this is currently my most favorite newborn photograph. It is sweet, peaceful, and real.

The Harrington's Country Clovis, New Mexico Family Session

I just want to say, this session could not have come at a better time. Sometimes you just get in a rut, and you need a pick-me-up. This entire family was just that, and was exactly what I needed that weekend. Nothing terrible or sad was going on, but I needed something to get me going again. Megan (the granddaughter in the coral cardigan) contacted me and wanted a family session of her entire family. She orignially wanted them before Christmas, but I didn't have anymore available dates. Thankfully that didn't stop her from scheduling a session for January. It was a cold session, but it was full of love and lots of fun!

Thank you Harrington's, Parsley's, and Austin's for letting me hang out and be apart of ya'lls family that day.

The Lansford's Clovis, New Mexico Family Session

The Lansford's live in Nebraska, but thankfully they have family in Clovis and were going to be here around Christmas. Their little guy also turned one in January so they wanted to document his one year birthday photographs too. He is about the same age as Liam and is just the cutest little thing!! I love working with the Lansford family. Do you remember their engagement session? It is one of my all time favorites!!

My Oldest Valentine

Benson is five. Really? How is that even possible. He has grown into being one of the sweetest, most compassionate little guys.Just the other day for example, I made him pancakes for his birthday breakfast. I handed the plate to him and said, "Benson, I give you my heart." He stopped what he was doing and without any words, he stood up in his chair and wrapped his arms around my neck and gave me a tight-squeezing hug.

Then this morning, he tells out of no where, "thank you for sewing up the holes on my stuffed animals." He wanted to tell me this last night, but I was gone. It meant so much to him that I have done that in the past, and he didn't forget he wanted to tell me.

I mean, seriously. Do they get any sweeter?

Ben and I are so blessed for our two February babies.

My Littlest Valentine

Time travels fast when you are having fun. It is hard to believe our little baby is one already. Liam is a cuddle bug, he adores his brother, and wants anything and everything you have. If he doesn't get it, he will make sure to let you know he's upset with a high pitched squeel. He talks non-stop and already has a great vocabulary saying, "momma, momma, momma, momma, dadda, bubba, and tank oo. Oh, and did I mention he says momma... a lot. Its the cutest thing, too. When Benson was a baby his first word was dadda, and it took forever for him to say momma. That is not the same for Liam. His first word was dadda too, but he said momma a few days later, and hasn't stopped. Liam loves: playing with paper plates and plastic water bottles apple slices puffs cheerios pizza army crawling gabbing giving hugs

Krystal and Andy's Outdoor New Mexico Wedding at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort

Krystal and Andy had a beautiful wedding at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in September. While we (Ben and I) were their scouting out locations for the bride and grooms first look, and wedding party pictures, we were surpirsed by the Native Indian dancing in the court yard along with fresh baked fry bread. It was a pleasure to see...and eat :)

Otto's Mommy and Me Session

I just realized I never posted these! I love seeing baby Otto on his momma's Instagram feed weekly. He is just the cutest little toot (as my dad would say).Don't you just want to squeeze those cute little cheeks and sweet little legs? This little family lives in Nebraska, but came home to visit family in Texas, then drove to Clovis for their shoot. I am SO glad they did. I wish we could get Liam and Otto together more offten. Hugs and kisses to little Otto and his momma. I love his facial expressions.

Liam had never seen another baby before meeting Otto. Liam was about 7 months and I think Otto was 3 months old. It so cute watching them discover each other.

And this shows off my older sons compassionate personality. He wanted to give Otto some lovin'.

The Schaap's Clovis, New Mexico Family Session

I just adore this family and the times I get to photograph their family. I count it as a blessing. A few fun facts about this family... They love going to the beach, and they all love a good steak :) Having a house of 6 people means they have lots of favorites for candy. Some of them being snickers, hersheys, almond joy, turtles, , kit kats, reese peanut butter cups, and peanut patties. Haha with a house full of kids, they probably don't have a shortage of candy.

I'm super pumped they chose these photographs below to decorate their walls with in their home.

Photo Safari

I went on a photo safari a few weeks back. Basically, anything that inspired me I took a picture of it. A couple of them are from a wedding I shot, but mostly are different things around my house, or catalog pages from Fossil. I didn't realize I like the combo yellow, teal, and coral so much. I knew I loved the peach-coral color combo, but hey, I learn new things about myself everyday. I love, bright lips, blue skies, pom-poms, peach-white combo, antique floral prints, tall brown boots, confetti, watercolor effect, illustration work, cooking, latte bowls from Anthropologie, porcelain and white antique pieces, soft hues, homemade items, ombre mug I made, blue skies and rainbows, stripes, yellow-coral-teal combo, dreamy looking things, painting, globe from my childhood with torn edges, peach/pink and white stripes.

I was challeged to do this, and I would like to challenge you too.
