Lubbock, Texas Portrait Photographer and New Mexico Portrait Photographer

Saturday I hung out with the McWilliams family. This is a super sweet family I met at Byron and Lindsay's wedding back in August.  Lauren (below) is Byron's sister.  It was nice seeing Lindsay and Sassy too!McWilliams family Lubbock Texas, portrait session

Let me just say if I looked like this when I was a senior, or even now, then I would be living on cloud 9.  I would first have to get a tan though :)  This beautiful girl is drop dead gorgeous.  And ya know what she told me?  She said she wasn't very photogenic!  Say what!!  I am gonna strongly disagree with that one.Clovis NM 2010 senior

New Mexico Senior Session. Gab 2010

Gab's senior session is not your typical senior session. I had a concept for her. She is unique, and I wanted to give her something different.Theme: An Artist (because that is what Gab does) She and I together (along with some of Benson's help) put together the newspaper backdrop. I wanted to include some bright colors to reflect her bright and spunky personality Also, in search for a bouquet, I decided to do something unique and went with radishes. I love Gab's clothing choices. She was her own stylist. And a great one at that!

There was no possible way for me to post a few from her session. Our creativity put together resulted in the images below. And I am so excited about them all. Gab looks so lovely and beautiful in everyone of these images. Take a looksy...

Senior sessions are by far one of my most favorites. I'm just sayin'. Laura's family came along for her senior session, and I loved that. I love it when the family keeps it real and gives support. New Mexico Portrait Photographer.Seniors

Can I just say that I LOVE senior sessions. Love love love them! Here are two of the seniors I had sessions with on Tuesday. We went to locations I don't normally go to or have never been to before. My thought process was to go outside the box, work from all angles and not to mention, have fun. I forgot my music for Tiffani's session, but it was okay because that girl didn't need music to loosen up. She was so fun and energetic and I laughed and had a blast. And with Jarod's session I was able to capture my favorite light.

Installment #3 (I think) of Gab.The Artist

Gab's session aloud me to be more creative than normal with senior sessions. We thought outside the box. I have lots of favorites I want to share with you, and I'll be doing them in different groups. Here is another of Gab, the artist.Click here to see the first post of instax film

Julia.Senior

Back in November I did Julia's senior pictures. She has grown up around horses since she was two years old, so it was a must that we include them in her senior session. She is one of those all around girls. She's feminine, yet sporty, and isn't afraid of getting dirty, and she rides horses AND dirt bikes. She does a little bit of everything and looks beautiful while doing so. Oh, and please don't hate me Julia for this first one. You look so cute, I just had to include it :)

Gab, the Artist. New Mexico Photographer

Yesterday was the day of a session I've been waiting for ever since we scheduled it back in the Fall. I knew doing a session for Gab ment I needed to get really really creative. Between the two of us, we planned out an idea that totally rocked my world and lit a fire under my creative booty. These are from my fujifilm instax camera and I'm uploading the digital images now so I'll show those later this week.Happy Sunday!

Powdered Donuts and Benson

Last night Ben gave Benson a powdered donut and the boy loved it. We didn't know how much until bath time. Ben was singing, and Benson was non-stop dancing for about 10 minutes. Taking breaks in between to shovel water through his legs while standing, and then to hold on the the bar in the tub to do a stomp dance. It was some of the best entrainment I've ever witnessed. Crying to the point of tears and I even got it on video. Can't show it to the public though because it contains a little nudity :) And then today, he put on his helmet, and instantly wanted to ride is tricycle. I love that he pairs the two together. That little brain of his is ticking away with smartness. instax-scans
