High school senior and college girls, it's time to get ready for your photo session. And what are you doing with your hair? I asked a local hair stylist, Julia Zarikta with Allure Salon what she would suggest and here is what she had to say:
"Hot roll or pin curl your hair to keep the structure of your curls. Therefore it will give you a variety of hair styles during a shoot.
Throw on a headband, side pony or a fun top knot (at the end of the shoot) for a relaxing casual look.
Also washing your hair the day before. Day two hair is usually better and can hold style longer."

Look at these little cuties and their lovies.  Aren't they adorable with their wild and crazy little boy personalities? I just love them. And thank you Rachelle Tuls for your sweet testimony from the studio mini sessions :) I love working with your family and watching your sweet boys grow up.
"Our family has used Cristy Cross Photography for a number of years. From newborn portraits to family pictures our experience is always the same...amazing! Now with a 3 year old and a 5 year old, life gets crazy and these moments are so special. Having the opportunity to do a mini session with Cristy offers us beautiful, priceless, fun pictures that are stress-less and perfect for the attention span of my two boys. Moments in their life that I will cherish."
So umm, this girl is amazing. Seriously. Do you know her? Then I know you agree. I love her free spirit personality and I love how it totally shows through the photographs below.Check out her cool, easy-going style. Thanks Darby for choosing me to photograph your senior session (last Spring). I feel so honored.
Here is a sneak peek of the beautiful Mariah and Starla. They are best friends and I love they decided to celebrate their friendship by doing a photo shoot together. They were so fun, the weather was beautiful and our first location was heavenly.
Thanks Ben fro driving all the way from Alamogordo for your senior shoot. You were awesome.
Most of the time I get annoyed by the wind. I mean, who really needs 30 mph wind anyways? Yesterday, it was one of those days and I had a beautiful senior to photograph. Thankfully the wind was on our side. I mean, look at her hair! It reminds me of Shakira's :)All that volume and curl. No wind could stop us. It might have knocked us over, but we kept going.
