Thank You 2014 Portrait Clients
/It is such an honor to work with you all and your beautiful families. Not all of the wonderful families are pictured below, but I do want to say you all have been a pleasure to work for. I look forward to working with you again in 2015.
The West Table Lubbock, Texas Family Session and Restaurant
/The West family needed to update their family pictures and get some shots of their new restaurant in downtown Lubbock, Texas. Not only is this family adorable on so many levels, but their restaurant, The West Table has a fabulous atmosphere and it was a perfect pairing for their session.
"The center driving force for The West Table is husband and wife team, Cameron and Rachel West. With more than 20 years of restaurant experience between the two of them, the couple is ready to bring their own style of food and beverage to the Lubbock community." -www.thewesttable.com
"Something really unique about The West Table is our actual tables. Cameron's grandfather, Bill Shambeck, was a cotton farmer in the area and the tables that we have are reclaimed wood from an old cotton gin here in Lubbock." - Rachel West
Check out the family session sneak peek below, but also go and make reservations at The West Table. You won't be disappointed. One of my favorite dishes was the beet salad. It was SO good.
The Schaap's Snowy Family Session
/When it snows around here we get very excited. I was so pumped to have a session on the day it snowed too with the lovely Schaap family. Not gonna lie though. It was FREEZING. We had to take breaks from shooting and warm up by the fire, then go shoot again. My toes were frozen, my fingers were numb and the gloves I was wearing made it hard to focus the lens, BUT it all worked perfectly. Here is a peek of the Schaap's super awesome snowy session.
The Hamilton's Studio Mini Session
/There are still a few spots available for the Friday, November 14th Studio Mini Sessions. Here's a look at what they will be like. Lots and lots of fun :)
Thank you Holly for your sweet testimony on your experience with the studio min sessions. I loved working with you all your beautiful kids. "I loved doing a studio mini session with Cristy Cross Photography. Twenty minutes with 4 kids was just enough time to keep their attention and Cristy captured priceless moments. I loved all the pictures and will definitely be doing another studio mini session in the future!!" -Holly Hamilton
The Martin's Country Living Clovis, New Mexico Family Session
/The Martin's wanted to create something like the Hilfiger ads for their family session. I'm totally loving what they came up with. They are blessed with finding awesome antiques such as the gold velvet bench. Pretty great right?!Thanks Martin family for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family. Here is a peek from their session...
The Tul's Studio Mini Session
/Look at these little cuties and their lovies.  Aren't they adorable with their wild and crazy little boy personalities? I just love them. And thank you Rachelle Tuls for your sweet testimony from the studio mini sessions :) I love working with your family and watching your sweet boys grow up.
"Our family has used Cristy Cross Photography for a number of years. From newborn portraits to family pictures our experience is always the same...amazing! Now with a 3 year old and a 5 year old, life gets crazy and these moments are so special. Having the opportunity to do a mini session with Cristy offers us beautiful, priceless, fun pictures that are stress-less and perfect for the attention span of my two boys. Moments in their life that I will cherish."
The Addison's Navy Blue and Grey Clovis, New Mexico Family Session
/I photographed more friends this weekend. These people aren't just great people, but they are also my neighbors, and these kiddos are some of the coolest around. And I love the color combo they chose. Navy blue and grey are perfect together. Take a peek at their session from yesterday.
The McDonald's Clovis, NM Family Session
/Okay so let me tell you a little about this awesome family. The mom is one of my bootcamp buddies, and we partner up on a lot of stuff at BC. I try to keep up with her on chin-ups, but she is kind of a beast when it comes to those. And for those who know the dad, ask him about his expertise in posing for the camera.A little "behind the scenes" on this first photograph: the kids was telling "yo momma" jokes and they were very hilarious. I mean, where do they come up with this stuff. This was a first for me during family sessions. haha Second photograph "behind the scenes": the kids have so much energy and were running around majority of the session. I wish I had their energy! Enjoy!
