Check ou this cute family of three from my Lubbock shoot I had last weekend. Aren't they just adorable! It took place at the lovely Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center where there were LOTS of misquitoes. Eeeek. 
How sweet is this beautiful mom with her lovely daughters? I love the color combo they chose too. Navy is the base color with a splash of turquoise and gray, amongst a few bright colors.What are your colors for your family session?

Okay you guys. This was so much fun. I loved photographing these kids (and a teen) today. Talk about super adorable.I have photographed my boys on this simple, white background studio set several times before and we always have so much fun. I let them do what ever. Act goofy and simply let them be kids. So, I decided I needed to offer this to others and I did just that this weekend.
Thank you everyone who participated in the studio mini sessions. I'm looking forward to you seeing them all. They are quite hilarious/cute/adorable.

Tonight was a pleasant evening photographing this sweet baby and her parents. She has a head full of hair and a sweet spirit. When I held her I started swaying and doing the "sh-sh-sh" thing you do when you hold a baby :) I think it is something I will always do when I hold a newborn baby.
All of the kids came into town with their families to celebrate their mom's birthday. Two of the boys (young men) are chefs and they fixed a feast for the whole family. The little kids were running around, being loud and crazy, doing what boys do. It was a sweet celebration and hearing the kids I'm sure was music to mom/grandma's ears. She is one lucky lady to have ALL her grandkids be grandsons.
There is nothing like working with great people. Thanks to these three for making a fun and enjoyable shoot. 
I'm currently working on print orders and I just had to share this sweet little baby face with you all.Isn't he the cutest! And look at those eyes.
Christmas family sessions are always so fun. Especially when I get to see dear friends from grade school. I loved seeing my friend and her family and seeing them so in love, and so happy. God is good. And this sweet baby is so blessed to have them as parents.
So I think this makes it year six that I've photographed the Tul's family. It truly is a blessing to watch them grow up over these last six years. As they added a new little baby boy to the family this year, their group just keeps getting cuter and cuter. And how Tricia, the momma, has seven boys, and still looks girly and oh-so-cute is beyond me :) We are normally outside in a field or at a barn, or football stadium for their family session, but this year the Underground Embassy was available and it is one of my favorites to photograph in. Thanks to Debbie, the owner for letting us use your lovely place.

Say hello to one of the coolest families ever and my best friend. This is the first Christmas in their new home and I was so excited to do their mini-shoot on the lovely front porch with the lovely stairs and columns. And their super cool attitudes and beautiful smiles. 
What do you wear for your family pictures? I think the Bollens family tackled this task very well. I love the navy blue and turquoise combo. I also really love the family dance session and the girls hanging from tree branches. Those are by far my favorite!

The Cordel family came to me for family pictures a few weeks back and here is a little peek. I just love his sweet cheeks, and the love that pours out from his mommy and daddy for him. Simply adorable. 
I love working with this family. Sweet baby girl turned one in July, so her mom had the best idea of doing part of the shoot at a fireworks station.It's always a joy photographing your family :)
