The McAden's Backyard Lubbock, Texas Family Session

Another Lubbock session I had this past weekend was for the McAden family. I love these people very very much. This is my best friend and her sweet, and adorable family. She is like my older sister that I never had. Her kids call me Aunt Cristy. Our husbands are great buds. Twin Baby Boy Family Session taken at Garden Art Center

I went to Lubbock this past weekend for a few sessions, and this sweet family was the first of the day. We went to the Garden Art Center in Lubbock, Tx and it is one of my favorite places. I feel like I'm in a secret garden or something. However it wasn't so secret, because there were two random dogs, lots of mosquitoes, and a big spider that crawled on our blanket.Thank you Nix family for a fun morning and for having me photograph your family. Your boys are adorable. 100% adorable!

Baby Gender Reveal Clovis Family Session

The great part of my job is I get to meet wonderful people like the Neuman family. They are gentle, sweet and wonderful people. I loved witnessing the raw emotion of excitement as he cut into the cake to find out if baby #2 would be a boy or girl.Thank you Neuman family for allowing me to photograph your family. Creating a Play Zone out of a Box Car

How do you turn an ordinary box car into a play zone?  Well, that's simple!  Hang several quilts, have a crafty person (Derek) make a swing, and wallah!

I am so excited for the Valdez family. They ordered a gallery canvas wrap, and a 24x36 wall print from their session. Their walls are about to be beautified.Little Aaron turned one last month when we took these so it only seemed right to do a birthday smash cake for pictures, which he loved.

The Zarikta's Urban-Style Clovis, New Mexico Art Gallery Family Portraits

The Zarikta's urban-style family portraits were taken in the ultra-cool art gallery, Underground Embassy in Clovis. Not only was the location super stylish, but so were their outfits that included bow ties. The Zarikta's always come prepared with cool outfits. I love how they each have their own style, but it all flows together for the family style.A big thanks to the Zarikta family for being so awesome.

Zaikowski's Cotton Field Clovis New Mexico Family Photo Shoot

The Zaikowski's were brave as they exited the car into the cold breezy air heading towards the cotton boles. They started the shoot off snuggling in the cotton field and keeping each other cozy, and those became my favorites. After the cotton field, we headed to the local nursery, Guthels. They are always so kind their and let me photograph inside the greenhouses on windy days, so thanks Guthels Nursery and Penny.The nursery shots are some of my favorites of mom and dad. I love that she wanted to try the "Dirty Dancing" lift. You know what I'm talking about! It was awesome and hilarious all at the same time. And last but not least, Sasha, the momma, is a photographer in Oklahoma so I wanted to snap a few headshots that she could use for her business. I had a blast Zaikowski family!! Come back to Clovis and we will do it again!
