Studio Mini Sessions with My GAP Model, Benson

I'm testing the lighting for the mini sessions tomorrow and I love how they are looking, especially with my litle GAP model, Benson. I decided to switch to the gray background this time instead of white. I hope you don't mind :)I am looking forward to photographing so many sweet faces tomorrow.

West Texas Sunflower Field-Mini Session Benefiting Luke Siegel

Thank you so much to all the people who have purchased a mini session to benefit my cousin, Luke Siegel. It is so touching and sweet and the the Siegel's are so very grateful.Kristin and Rustin Knight are the first up. We went to their sunflower field in Plains, Tx. It was so beautiful. Bees were flying all around and we were a little scared, but we all ended the session unharmed. Thankfully :)

Mini Sessions in Clovis and Lubbock

I am currently offering mini sessions in Clovis, NM and Lubbock, TX with 50% of the sales going towards my cousin Luke. My nine-year-old cousin Luke was in a golf cart accident Tuesday, July 28th in Lubbock, Texas that resulted in severe head trauma. Doctors are optimistic that Luke will return home but not without quite the road to recovery with brain damage, a collapsed lung and complications with his left eye due to the golf cart rolling on top of him causing several skull fractures and brain swelling. It is a waiting game as doctors continue to evaluate the extent of the brain damage and the next few days will be key for Tim and Jenny Siegel, Luke's sisters, family, friends and loved ones.

Couples Session-A Special Place

Linda is one of my dear friends. We became friends through photography and we now shoot weddings together when we can. It's so much fun shooting with someone you really enjoy :)One day Linda contacted me about shooting a 'just because' session at one of their favorite places. It is the place where Grant proposed to her and it's the place where Grant saw Linda for the first time in her wedding dress on their wedding day. A Family Session-Babies and Toddlers

Six years ago Erin and Jason got married in Olton, Texas, and they chose me to be their wedding photographer. They are just the sweetest couple, and now they have added two little ones to their family. Those babies are precious. Cristy Cross Photography's New Logo

After six years of having the same logo, I have decided to make a change. This logo fits me better as the person I am today. The forward C and backward C represent my name, and the cross in the middle symbolizes my last name. Thanks to my dear friend, Whitney Green for her graphic design skills. She has patiently worked with me on this project for the past 4 1/2 months.  I wanted it to be perfect ans she delivered just that and then some.  Thank you Whitney.  You are wonderful, and I'm glad God gave you your talents. Ya'll! This couple is so so precious. The joy of the bride and goom and the family members for this marriage was so sweet to witness. Both the bride and groom's moms were crying and the groom couldn't stop smiling, and the bride was so happy tears kept flowing from her eyes.It was a blessed moment for these two families. The groom is my cousin, and it has been so cool to see him grow into the young responsible man he is today. Have fun in Hawaii you two!
