Baby Otto.3 months old

So, I just love baby Otto. He smiled the first moment I met him. He is so happy, so sweet, and so deliciously adorable. He reminds me a lot of Liam (only a smaller version :) )Otto's mommy, Priscilla and I go way back. She went to school with my younger brother, and she and I became good friends in high school choir. She is so wonderfully creative and stylish and she makes really cute babies.

Thanks for coming all the way from Nebraska, then to Lubbock, then to Clovis so I could take pictures of you and your sweet little Otto.

The Valdez's Clovis, NM Family Session

I am so excited for the Valdez family. They ordered a gallery canvas wrap, and a 24x36 wall print from their session. Their walls are about to be beautified.Little Aaron turned one last month when we took these so it only seemed right to do a birthday smash cake for pictures, which he loved.

Ashleigh's fabulous high school senior photo shoot.Class of 2013

Ashleigh is another Class of 2013 senior, and her session was on fire and so stylish. She wants to become a fashion buyer or stylist, and I think she proves she would be a great one. I mean, take a look at her outfits!Stay tuned to see how you can turn three outfits into four like Ashleigh did. She is so creative and talented. I can't wait for her to see the rest at her ordering and viewing session.

Baby Holden's Newborn Session

Baby Holden is growing and far from a newborn. He is 3 1/2 months old, and looks as sweet as ever. He is the first newborn that hasn't gone to the bathroom during the session too I might add. hahaha I left the shoot with clean blankets! Totally not the norm. Check out baby Holden and "LIKE" this post to share with your friends.

Benson's First Day of School

Benson's first day of school...I had to do a little photo shoot of him for his first day back to school. He looked so cute. He was so happy. I had to capture this excitement! He is so thrilled to be going to school today. For one, he gets to ride in daddy's jeep and he LOVES that. He has been wanting to start back to school ever since we did the Back 2 School mini-sessions a couple of weeks ago. His teachers this year are so sweet and he is going to learn Spanish! I am so excited, because he is so excited. I pray his first day continues with this excitement. I can't wait to watch him learn and grow this year. My heart explodes with happiness just thinking of how much he will learn this year at school. I am filled with mixed emotions, because this also means he is getting bigger, and will be five in February, and then before I know it he will be in kindergarten. BUT, I need to not even go down that road yet. I need to take it in, and just let time stand still as he attends his second year of preschool. Oh, happy days.

Back 2 School Mini-Sessions. Round 3

So today is the first day of school. Who is excited? Who is sad? Lots of emotions going on today for the kids, parents and teachers. Either way you are feeling, I wish you all good luck and a happy 2012-2013 year.My little guy, Benson is back to school, but he is still in preschool and only goes half a day. So I'm excited for him, and excited I get to have some work time again. Its hard in the summers to be a mom and a business owner, but we make it work. Now that he is in school, its calm and peaceful for me and baby Liam. I can't wait when he gets home to hear all about his first day, and about the new friends he makes.

Madi's Summer Flare Clovis, New Mexico High School Senior Photo Shoot

Happy Saturday! Madi's shoot this summer was on a perfect day...well maybe a little hot and sticky, but perfect lighting. She chose some of the best outfits, too. I love the simplicity of the first one, the hat and shoes with the second outfit, and I loved the flowy country girl look of the third outfit. Yay! Thanks Madi for choosing me to be your Class of 2013 senior photographer. You looked beautiful!

Back 2 School Mini-Sessions. Round 2

This was such a fun shoot. I know most of these kids, and they are past clients and good friends. These photo shoots were more like play dates. I loved them! Some kids were goofy and silly, some wanted to be models, and one little boy thought it was funny to throw erasers at me. Anything to make them feel at "home". haha

My Back 2 School Babies

Yesterday's Back 2 School Mini-Sessions were a success. I started off with my two little boys. I'll be honest I was a little frustrated with Benson, because he wouldn't listen, and I didn't think I was getting any good ones of them. I think I need to give him a little more credit though, because he looks pretty darn cute:)Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday, and thanks to Jan Garrett for your amazing help. I know it's cliche to say, but time flies when your having fun. Those 3 1/2 hours came and went.

Happy Sunday!
