Blumer Family. New Mexico Portrait Photographer

As I promised Stephanie...Tonight I saw Stephanie at Zumba and we most definitely worked it, even though I messed up a bunch on my steps. It was still lots of fun having her dance along beside me. The Clovis News Journal was even there...taking pictures. Seriously! The photographer like snuck into the room and started snapping away. I just want to say, that if you are taking pictures of a bunch of ladies all in athletic clothing doing Zumba moves, please don't take it from below. We don't want to see that of ourselves in the morning paper. My tip: take the images from above of dancing ladies. I'm curious to see who the photog will put in the paper. I was wearing my Cristy Cross Photography shirt (I was my own walking advertisement), but I don't think the camera was aimed at me. Thank goodness :) Any who...here are the favorites from Stephanie and her families session. By the way, they have such a neat relationship between the three of them. I loved watching them as a family.

Good nite and sleep tight.

Jared.High School Senior 2010 Portrait New Mexico Photographer

Jared is one of the two guys I've had all year for high school senior sessions. It was a nice change to be photographing a guy and rework my poses to not look feminine. hahaha :) Here are the favorites from Jared's session.

Cameron and Tayley.New Mexico Wedding Photographer

This evening was so much fun.  First of all, I got to ride in a helicopter.  Secondly, I hung out with Cameron and Tayley on a dried up lake bed, and take pictures non-stop of this lovey dovey couple.  Thirdly, I got to fly the helicopter.  I think I need a handle now.  I was thinking of going with "Shooter".  What do ya think?  What else could my handle name be? Did I mention I got to fly a helicopter?  A Bell 212 that is :)  Don't worry folks, pilot Dave was right there beside me, watching my every move to make sure I was flying properly.

This is one of the favorites from the first part of the session.  We flew to  such an awesome place.  Thanks Dave and Cameron for getting us there :)

I think this should be a massive 40x60 canvas on their wall.

Lubbock, Texas Portrait Photographer.Newborn Baby

I photographed the sweet Gwinn family back in March and their new addition to the family, little Zander. I have gotten to know this family a bit through my mom while we were working on a book she is trying to get published. The Gwinn family is also apart of the Experience Life church in Lubbock and Brandon is the worship leader. God has blessed this sweet family with awesome talent and adorable children. Thanks Gwinn family for letting me be apart of your day.

Saturday I hung out with the McWilliams family. This is a super sweet family I met at Byron and Lindsay's wedding back in August.  Lauren (below) is Byron's sister.  It was nice seeing Lindsay and Sassy too!McWilliams family Lubbock Texas, portrait session

Let me just say if I looked like this when I was a senior, or even now, then I would be living on cloud 9.  I would first have to get a tan though :)  This beautiful girl is drop dead gorgeous.  And ya know what she told me?  She said she wasn't very photogenic!  Say what!!  I am gonna strongly disagree with that one.Clovis NM 2010 senior

Dreams do come true. New Mexico Photographer

Today was the day. It was the day where all of the ideas in my head would come out and be put into production. I can't believe it. It was more than I could have ever dreamed of. It was better than I could have ever imagined. I was overwhelmed with joy by all the people who helped out and made this day possible. This shoot was definitely not a "one man" gig. Each and every piece of this day was compiled and designed by some amazing people with crazy amazing minds. Here is one from my Alice In Wonderland Themed shoot I have been dreaming of for a year.

New Mexico Senior Session. Gab 2010

Gab's senior session is not your typical senior session. I had a concept for her. She is unique, and I wanted to give her something different.Theme: An Artist (because that is what Gab does) She and I together (along with some of Benson's help) put together the newspaper backdrop. I wanted to include some bright colors to reflect her bright and spunky personality Also, in search for a bouquet, I decided to do something unique and went with radishes. I love Gab's clothing choices. She was her own stylist. And a great one at that!

There was no possible way for me to post a few from her session. Our creativity put together resulted in the images below. And I am so excited about them all. Gab looks so lovely and beautiful in everyone of these images. Take a looksy...

Albuquerque, New Mexico family

I love visiting Albuquerque. We used to call it "home". We lived there for three years while Ben went to the University of New Mexico Law School. It is a beautiful city and I miss the scenery, but not so much the traffic. I sometimes crave bagels from Einstein's. And the thing I miss the most is the 5k trail around the Academy School. It brings back great memories of my quiet times with God as I pushed myself to run the entire 3.3 miles. I'll be honest though, I haven't done that in a very LONG LONG time. So, while we were in Albuquerque back in February I had a session with the Boyd family. They have a precious little girl who gets lots of love from her parents AND grandparents. Thats a baby who is loved :)

Morrow Family. Clovis, NM Family Photographer
