The Cole's Clovis, New Mexico Lifestyle Newborn Session

The Cole's welcomed me into their lovely home for a family and lifestyle newborn session. Their home has so much character, that I could stay there all day browsing around and "ooo-ing and awe-ing" over the architecture and decor of their home. The Cole's let it be a surprise whether they were having a boy or girl. Only their interior designer, Callie Parr knew. She decorated the room in the most perfect way for baby Marnie. She used an orange and purple palette along with beautiful textures, and patterns.

Baby Marnie is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations Cole family on your sweet new addition.  Your two girls are the coolest :)

My Oldest Valentine

Benson is five. Really? How is that even possible. He has grown into being one of the sweetest, most compassionate little guys.Just the other day for example, I made him pancakes for his birthday breakfast. I handed the plate to him and said, "Benson, I give you my heart." He stopped what he was doing and without any words, he stood up in his chair and wrapped his arms around my neck and gave me a tight-squeezing hug.

Then this morning, he tells out of no where, "thank you for sewing up the holes on my stuffed animals." He wanted to tell me this last night, but I was gone. It meant so much to him that I have done that in the past, and he didn't forget he wanted to tell me.

I mean, seriously. Do they get any sweeter?

Ben and I are so blessed for our two February babies. Best Friends at the Curry County Fair

The Noble's Hill Country Marble Falls, Texas Family Session

The Noble family came to Marble Falls, Texas for a this wedding and while we were all there, they decided they wanted a family shoot in the beautiful hill country. The hill country itself is beautiful, but I never thought about how cool and different the architecture would be too.Here is a peek at the Noble's family session. They are a fun, loving family and I love the expressions captured below. I loved working with them, and I can't wait for them to see the full session this weekend!

The Curtis's Colorful and Sunny Fall Family Session

Thank you Curtis family for coming all the way from Kansas to Clovis, New Mexico for your family session. I know you have family to visit while you are here, but I really appreciate you choosing me to be your family photographer. Your kids are darling, and so beautiful. Also, thank for letting my little ones come and play after the session, since I had to come back to pick up my props that I forgot :) It is always a joy to see you all.

What was my life like before my little boys? I mean really! This little guy, who will be 5 in February just blesses my heart. He teaches me things, and I love learning from him. For example, trying to photograph your own kids can be a bit challenging. Sometimes I get impatient with him, but if I would just sit and observe his sweet spirit he will show me something better-way better than the idea I had. Last Sunday I was in Lubbock where my parents live, so my mom helped me do a mini photo shoot of Benson. I shot mostly with film, and I'm waiting to get it back, but here are a few I shot with my 5D Mark II.

The McAden's Backyard Lubbock, Texas Family Session

Another Lubbock session I had this past weekend was for the McAden family. I love these people very very much. This is my best friend and her sweet, and adorable family. She is like my older sister that I never had. Her kids call me Aunt Cristy. Our husbands are great buds. Hartle Family of Three.Clovis Portrait Session

Beautiful sun, no wind, and energetic little boy. This is what I got with the Hartle family session last week.I was huffing and puffing after this shoot. Their little boy doesn't stop going, and I SO wish I had his energy. The Hartle family is such a sweet loving family and I enjoyed watching dad play with their son, and mom love on their son. Back 2 School Mini-Sessions. Round 2

This was such a fun shoot. I know most of these kids, and they are past clients and good friends. These photo shoots were more like play dates. I loved them! Some kids were goofy and silly, some wanted to be models, and one little boy thought it was funny to throw erasers at me. Anything to make them feel at "home". haha

Families are booking their sessions for the Fall already people, and I can't believe it.
