Lindsey and Kelby's Hill Country Wedding

Remember this couple from their engagement session?  They are such a sweet couple, and they brought tears to my eyes at their Christoval, Texas wedding (near San Angelo).  Here is a peek at their First Look.  It was definitely the sweetest moment ever!

When I asked Lindsey to name three things she loved about Kelby, here is what she said: 1. Kelby has one of the biggest hearts out there. And he loves me with all of it! :) 2. He is one of the most dependable people I know and is always there for me when I need him, anything from a shoulder to cry on to moving me across town (probably 5 times since we met.) haha! He is my support group. 3. He is generous and tends to spoil me.

Kara and Brian's Elegant Kansas Wedding

Do you remember their super cute engagement shoot at Palo Duro Canyon? We loved traveling from Clovis, NM to Garden City, KS for Kara and Brian's wedding.  We were blessed to photograph Kara and Brian's wedding thanks to recent portrait clients and friends.  Kara and Brian saw each other for the first time before the ceremony. It was the sweetest, and I mean the SWEETEST moment seeing her reaction when she saw him.  Ah man...it was awesome.  Tears immediately fell from her face before she met him outside.  And because he knows her so well, he was their waiting for her with a hug.  Just a little note to bride and groom: You really should see each other before the wedding.  The moment is precious between you and no one is watching...besides the creeper photographer snapping shots of course.

So, since they saw each other before the ceremony, they had time to do something really cool with the guests that came all the way out for their wedding.  After the ceremony, they went back in and stood at each row to greet, hug and thank them for coming to their wedding.  This gave Kara and Brian a chance to see everyone that came out.  Super cool idea for future bride and grooms.

Okay so here is the good stuff...check out their beautiful wedding below.

Vintage DIY Wedding

This Vintage DIY wedding took place in Snyder, Texas.  Every bit of the details were done mostly if not all by the bride. The invitations and banners were made by her too! She is a super talented graphic designer and pulled out all the cards for this joyous occasion.  Over time, Whitney collected vintage pieces for their wedding.  She worked hard collecting these pieces and I love how she designed and decorated the whole day. The reception area included an ice cream parlor and a super chic candy bar.  Check it out below!

Texas Country Chic Wedding.Jordan and Sunny

Jordan and Sunny's wedding was a dream for me. They are one of the most genuine couples and I loved working with them and meeting their families.Their Texas Country Chic wedding took place in Rotan, TX. This is where they met back in junior high. They took different roads through out high school and college, but love kept them close enough to reconnect. Jordan currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengal's NFL football team, and played college footbal for Univeristy of Texas in Austin.  AND Sunny is a super talented country song writer.  Ever heard of  "Oh Tonight"?  Ya well, she is responsible for that.   These two are both so talented, but the thing that makes me like them the most is how humble they both are. God has great things planned for these two.

Loretto Chapel Santa Fe Wedding.Megan and Michael

Megan and Michael's fabulous wedding took place in February at the Loretto Chapel and La Posada Spa and Resort of Santa Fe, NM. Two of the most gorgeous locations in Santa Fe if you ask me. Photographer: Cristy Cross Photography

Ceremony Location: Loretto Chapel

Reception Location: La Posada de Santa Fe

Event Coordinator: La Posada de Santa Fe

David Stone

Cake Arist: Maggie's Cakes

Florist: Marisa's Flowers

These two grew up and went to the same schools all the way from elementary school up until college. Funny thing is, they never really met until one day at a tailgate party for a Texas Tech University football game. Michael and his buddies were hosting, and Megan was there with a friend. Michael's dad came over to visit with Megan, and Michael walked over to "rescue" her. They hit it off immediately. He told her later that night that he was going to marry her. And that is just what he did.
