Our little boy, William (Liam) Weaver Cross will be here soon. His room is all ready for him and our entire family is trying to be patient and not too anxious as we wait for his arrival. Take a tour of our little ones room while you wait with us.

Do you remember their super cute engagement shoot at Palo Duro Canyon?
We loved traveling from Clovis, NM to Garden City, KS for Kara and Brian’s wedding. We were blessed to photograph Kara and Brian’s wedding thanks to recent portrait clients and friends. Kara and Brian saw each other for the first time before the ceremony. It was the sweetest, and I mean the SWEETEST moment seeing her reaction when she saw him. Ah man…it was awesome. Tears immediately fell from her face before she met him outside. And because he knows her so well, he was their waiting for her with a hug. Just a little note to bride and groom: You really should see each other before the wedding. The moment is precious between you and no one is watching…besides the creeper photographer snapping shots of course.
So, since they saw each other before the ceremony, they had time to do something really cool with the guests that came all the way out for their wedding. After the ceremony, they went back in and stood at each row to greet, hug and thank them for coming to their wedding. This gave Kara and Brian a chance to see everyone that came out. Super cool idea for future bride and grooms.
Okay so here is the good stuff…check out their beautiful wedding below.

MY friend Linda Schilberg took maternity pictures a few weeks back for me. Benson joined in and made it so special. These are memories Ben and I will cherish forever.
Take a look…

Lindsey and Kelby ordered a guest sign-in book for their wedding day. I can’t wait for their guests to sign the book and see the engagement shots we took back in the summer.
They are getting married June 2nd and it will be here before we know it!

The Zaikowski’s were brave as they exited the car into the cold breezy air heading towards the cotton boles. They started the shoot off snuggling in the cotton field and keeping each other cozy, and those became my favorites. After the cotton field, we headed to the local nursery, Guthels. They are always so kind their and let me photograph inside the greenhouses on windy days, so thanks Guthels Nursery and Penny.
The nursery shots are some of my favorites of mom and dad. I love that she wanted to try the “Dirty Dancing” lift. You know what I’m talking about! It was awesome and hilarious all at the same time.
And last but not least, Sasha, the momma, is a photographer in Oklahoma so I wanted to snap a few headshots that she could use for her business.
I had a blast Zaikowski family!! Come back to Clovis and we will do it again!
Enjoy!

I love the holidays when couples get engaged. And I also love when brides contact Cristy Cross Photography to be their wedding photographer.
I’m sending out packages to my new brides this week and here is a sneak peek of what they will be getting!
Be on the look out my sweet brides…

Christmas Eve started out at a laundry mat for Alicia and Jon’s urban Lubbock, Texas maternity photo shoot. It was quite chilly, and then it started snowing. It was so beautiful and perfect. Alicia is due very soon and I’m looking forward to seeing their sweet little girl, Emmy.
Congratulations you two! She is almost here.

The White families Las Cruces, New Mexcio Desert shoot was awesome. Beautiful setting + cute family = perfection. Some of my all time favorites are of them laying on the couch. Those are sweet, and real moments people. My favorite.

This is one of my favorite families. Our family has gotten to know the Morris family over the last 3-4 years and I’ve truly enjoyed them and their friendship. They ordered a canvas print of their adorable kiddos that I know will brighten up their faces everytime they look at it. Thank you Morris family for being such awesome people and for allowing me to photograph your precious family.
