I also do a lot of work in Texas, including Lubbock, Dallas / Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, etc.

New Mexico Wedding Photographer
Weddings make me smile! I love it when a wedding client ends up becoming a dear friend. I enjoy relationships and a wedding day is full of relationships. I am trained as an artist to create images for the bride and groom for their wedding day. My job is to gather all kinds of information for the bride and groom on the day of their wedding. Information they may not have seen or even have known to exist, but because I was there to photograph those moments, they will remember them for years to come. Through my work as Cristy Cross Photography, I have come to learn that the bride and groom are so busy on their big day that they may miss some of the details happening around them. The sweet embrace of Grandma and Grandpa, the tear in Mom’s eye, the sweet ring bearer pulling the flower girl’s hair – that kind of stuff. Well I count it as great joy to photograph those moments so the bride, groom and their family can have those memories forever.
What sets me apart is my passion and heart for people, as well as my artistic eye to create more than the safe image. I count it a great privilege to be involved in such a special, powerful day. My goal in wedding photography is to provide full coverage of the day and capture every intimate detail so the memories can be enjoyed for many years to come.
High School Senior Photographer
High School seniors are so awesome! Each session is different. Each senior I photograph is different. I love preparing for senior sessions because I can research new styles, get updates on fashion and I include the client on this search. The best way to bring out the personality in my high school seniors is by investing time in asking questions about them as individuals. To make it even more fun for the seniors I include music so they can dance.
My senior sessions are full of energy, laughs, and I focus on learning more about my client as I take pictures, to make their photographs more personal.
Portrait Photographer
I love family and individual portraits. It is an honor to help chronicle a family’s history. Who doesn’t love looking back at a picture taken years ago? It is fun. It is history. I specialize in taking a family to a place that they love – their favorite park, their family’s farm, etc. In these settings, a family can be truly comfortable and the pictures turn out great. I love to work with families on what outfits to wear, what location they want to go to and what they want to see in their pictures.
